Logical essays

The best way to find out how to get a mark would be to look at a logical essay sample, but doing this with no guidance can be overwhelming. How can you show insight? Is your score affected by typos? What is a good way organized?

The sample logical essays that follow were written in response to the prompt that appears under. The rater commentary that follows each sample essay explains how the answer meets the criteria for that score.

Below you'll find selected examples of documents which "worked," as nominated by our admissions committee. These entrances are different and unique to the individual writer; however, they each assisted the admissions reader in learning more about the student.

Your goal in writing your logical essays is to produce a self-portrait that singles you out and places you before your competitors. Your documents will need to be thoughtful, creative, and persuasive to achieve this. Below you will find sample essays that serve as illustrations of logical essay superiority. As you read them, there are a number of important elements that you need to take notice of: the different individuality of each essay, the very clear theme, the engaging introduction, and the finish that ties the essay together, making it a complete, coherent unit.
