The best way to figure out ways to get a mark is to look at a model essay sample, but doing this with no guidance can be overpowering. How do you show insight? Do your score impact? What is a good way to keep your essay organized?

Below you will find selected examples of essays that "worked," as nominated by our admissions committee. These entries are different and unique to the author; in learning more about the student past the transcripts and lists of activities offered in their 37,, however, each of them helped the admissions reader.

Your goal in writing your model essays is to produce a self-portrait that singles you out and places you at your target schools before your competition. Your documents will have to be thoughtful, creative, and persuasive to achieve this. Below you'll find sample essays which serve as illustrations of model essay superiority. As you read them, there are a number of key elements that you need to take note of: the distinct individuality of each essay, the clear theme, the engaging opening, and also the finish that ties the essay with each other, which makes it a complete, coherent unit.
